The PFM-1 Professional Fragrance Machine by Back Stage Technologies is designed to disperse a single fragrance continually or on cue.
With independent DMX control over the fan speed and the fragrance cue, the PFM-1 can be programmed to create different effects. Effects include everything from a gentle and continual ambient fragrance within a space to a cued burst of concentrated fragrance in a 4D cinema.
Construction
As well as the main, cast aluminium, blower fan, the Professional Fragrance Machine is manufactured from epoxy powder-coated stainless steel so will not rust!
The PFM-1 also has its own, integral, compressor to ensure ultra-fine atomisation of the fragrance. This method of atomisation results in extremely efficient consumption.
The fragrance intensity is also variable via the external rotary control. The variable intensity combined with the variable fan speed allows the PFM-1 to fulfil most creative briefs. All the components are 100% duty rated so are hard-wearing and long lasting.
The PFM-1 is available in 2 configurations namely: PFM-1(H) and PFM-1(V).The “H” and “V” denotes the output direction.
The PFM-1(H) discharges the fragrance horizontally from the front of the machine. The PFM-1(V) discharges the fragrance vertically from the base of the machine. The “H” version is shown above. The “V” version is designed for applications where the machine is to be suspended immediately above the fragranced area.
Fragrances
There are over 300 standard fragrances within our range all of which are suitable for use in the PFM-1 machine. We can also design bespoke fragrances to clients specific requirements. Samples of our fragrances are also available so you can be sure of your choice before purchasing. Some complex fragrances can take several weeks to produce so it is advisable to begin the selection process as early as possible.
