European distributors for off-the-shelf special effects equipment and consumables.
Based in The Netherlands, Thematic Development have 20 years of Worldwide
experience in the themed entertainment industry and bridge the gap between
creativity and technical functionality. As well as European distributors for BST, they
also distribute Alcorn McBride putting them at the forefront of show and ride control.
Frank Ruisch, Managing Director of Thematic Development, said, “BST are the
perfect fit for our business”. He went on to say, “We have been controlling theme
park SFX for more than 20 years and it is therefore a logical progression, as we grow
our business, to be able to supply the effects we actually control!”
BST also feel that this symbiotic relationship will add value to their business, as it

control, programming and integration into new and existing ride systems without the
need for the client to employ a third party to undertake this.
