The Koolfog system creates “real” fog, i.e. it uses water at high-pressure and special hydraulic nozzles to atomise the water into a thick, opaque, fog that hugs the ground and drifts like dry ice. By changing the nozzles, a more translucent, grey, mist can be created to emphasise lighting and sunbeams. The system includes dual filtration to remove any particulates in the water supply and subsequently to reduce the likelihood of the nozzles blocking. A UV steriliser is also included to eradicate waterborne bacteria – a major consideration in any application where the public may come into contact with the vapour. Optional water softeners and reverse osmosis systems are also available which treat the water further and thus prolong the life expectancy of the nozzles. The Koolfog systems are also available in special configurations (to order), including; stainless steel construction, specialist colours and 110V 60HZ for U.S. applications.
